The most accomplished victory in the Champions League this week came at the San Siro, where Inter thumped Werder Bremen 4-0. The holders looked irresistible, and Samuel Eto'o earned the lion's share of the plaudits, netting a hat-trick and earning the assist as Wesley Sneijder notched the other.
Eto'o was simply deadly as he took all three goals with lethal precision. Still fast, still lean, and still under 30 years of age, Eto’o showed again on Wednesday that he has not lost the attributes that made him a great finisher with Barcelona.Samuel Eto'o's highlights can be seen here:
After the match the Cameroonian also took a swipe at former boss Jose Mourinho. "I'm happy to win as a striker after winning as a defender last season," Eto'o said. "This is a victory for the whole team, though. The side played very well, even if we had important players missing, and the youngsters really impressed."
Wah Papa Eto'o..
